The role is a temporary position, required to cover a long-term sickness within the school. The successful applicant will:

  • Be an English and / or History Teacher with QTS, or any matching qualification that enables you to teach in the UK i.e. QTLS
  • Have strong subject knowledge and an engaging teaching style
  • Be required to conduct safe, ethical and thought-prov king lessons and discussions
  • Possess stong classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Required to do lesson planning and marking
  • Committed, enthusiastic practitioners seeking to support excellent progress for all students
  • Aspiring to the highest standards of behaviour, academic success, and well-being for the school
  • Resilient, reflective and thoughtful, seeking to develop yourself
  • Passionate and enthusiastic about Geography, delivering engaging lessons for 11-18 year old's (Key Stage 3-5)

This is a full-time, temporary position. Working hours are Monday-Friday 8:30-3:30.
